Delete A Comment On Facebook
Erasing a comment on Facebook just takes a few secs, yet if you're pushed to do away with one rapidly, below's a basic guide.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web internet browser. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you're visited.
- If you aren't visited, enter your e-mail address and password before proceeding.
2. Most likely to the article on which you want to remove a comment. If the post gets on your profile web page, you can click your account tab in the upper-right edge of the page; otherwise, most likely to the profile page of the person that developed the blog post as well as scroll down to the blog post.
3. Open up the comments section. Sometimes, the comments section will open on its own; if not, click the # comments connect listed below the article.
- The "#" refers to the number of comments on the post. For example, a message with 10 comments would have a 10 remarks link below.
4. Float your computer mouse over a remark. Doing so will prompt a ⋯ icon to appear to the right of the comment.
5. Click ⋯. It's to the right of a remark. If you're deleting your own remark, a drop-down menu will appear; otherwise, a pop-up window will certainly appear.
6. Click Erase when triggered. It's a blue button in the pop-up window. Doing so will certainly remove the comment from your blog post.
- If you're removing your own remark, you'll click Erase in the drop-down menu before clicking the blue Erase switch.
From your mobile phone
Discover the remark you intend to remove and push down over the remark, holding your finger there till a dialog box pops up. Once the box appears, faucet Remove and your comment will be permanently erased. Or if you just want to edit, you can choose modify from here as well.
